What does Upward Bound mean to you? How has it changed you overall?
To me Upward Bound is an opportunity to prove to the people who always doubted that you are capable of succeeding. It is a chance to better yourself with education but most importantly prepare yourself for a better future. 

What influenced/inspired you to become a teacher?
Although I'm not a teacher, just a TA, I enjoy teaching because I enjoy learning. I find knowledge to be an incredible thing. I hope to be able to transfer that excitement of gaining knowledge to anyone who is willing and excited to receive it. 

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
In my free time I enjoy playing sports and being active (i.e swimming, volleyball, basketball). I also enjoy spending time with my family watching tennis or football. If time and funds permit, I'd love to be able to travel all of the world. 

What is your favorite color? Why?
My favorite color is Blue, but there is no reason, it's just always been blue. A second favorite is purple, obviously because I will always be a Husky.

What is one weird fact about you that we don't know right off the bat?
I know four languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish and ASL), and I also own over 100 pairs of shoes.
