COMPUTER BUILDING:
This class teaches us the technical art of what
else? Computer building. From the ground up, we create complex
pieces of machinery, just as good as the computer on your desk
at home. Not only do these computers go to Upward Bound students
who otherwise can’t afford to own a computer, but we also earn
a laptop at the end of the session. This isn’t a shrunken-down
computer troubleshooting class, this is an actual class to learn
how to actually build actual computers.
