This class is taught by Leny Buford. She has been with Upward Bound since it was established. She teaches many techniques that will be helpful in college. She is an example of a very determined woman who won't take no for an answer. She defines aspects of someone who has experienced the the Good benefits of college and the Bad benefits if you choose to fall behind. She tells the truth of college life even if the truth is hard to handle. We stay determined with strong spirits to overcome what our past generations couldn't.
