1) When you were younger what did you want to be?

I always wanted to be an architect, especially when a career as a professional athlete fell through.

2) When you were younger what superhero did you pretend/want to be and why?

I pretended to be Spiderman because he could walk on walls.

3) Who do you think is the most memorable student in Upward Bound and why?

Thus far, the most memorable student I have in my class would have to be Marquez because he likes to clown around in class, but really has great ideas and things to say when he puts his mind to it.  He reminds me of myself at his age.

4) How was your first year in Upward Bound? Did you have a hard time working with the students?

The students are great and excited to learn. Occasionally they get a bit distracted and bored, but overall they make teaching fun.

5) When you were little who was the best teacher you ever had?

When I was younger I specifically remember my language arts teacher Ms. Rosa from 8th grade.  She taught my Spanish class and allowed us to break a piñata every Friday.
