    2. 1) When you were younger what did you want to be?
    3. Well, at first I wanted to be a professional football player.  But, then I realized that not everyone can be like Steve Largent and I didn’t want spend my whole life working out. Plus, I wanted to use my mathematical brain for something good. After that, I was set on becoming a NASA engineer or something like that

    5. 2) When you were younger what superhero did you pretend/want to be and why?

Flash Gordon, because up until about high school I was bigger and faster than most of the other guys.  I could just run away or run over anyone. That changed once the other guys’ hormones caught up.

      3) Who do you think is the most memorable student in Upward Bound and why?

Boy, that’s one loaded question.  I don’t think anyone is anymore memorable than the next.  However, I do appreciate all of our hard working students, especially in my math classes. If you work your tail off in math, you’ll be remembered by me forever….I promise.

    6. 4) How was your first year in Upward Bound? Did you have a hard time working with the students?

    7. My first year was awesome.  That’s why I’m here today.  I never thought I would be doing this teaching thing until that fateful summer. I haven’t looked back since.

    8. 5) When you were little who was the best teacher you ever had?

My favorite teachers always seemed to be my English teachers. Many of them seemed to teach me a whole lot and I felt really well prepared for college.  Although I really love math, I’ve never really had a favorite math teacher. That’s rather ironic and I hope to change that a little.
