Quiz section 1, like the other sections, is an extension to the lecture class. This class is to prepare students for the mock trial at the end of the program which will account for 40% of a student's class grade. Students participate in speeches, witness exercises, and engage in trial preparation. To prepare for their mock trial, students learn the following elements: opening and closing statements, direct and cross examination, trial mechanics and public speaking. Aaron says he loves working with eager students who are learning real life speaking/trial skills.
