Instructor: Reyna Rollolazo (William H. Gates Hall Room 133)

This class also comes right after lecture. The purpose of this class is to give an introduction to basic legal concepts involving the criminal justice system and advocacy. This class advances the students' knowledge on Aspects of Criminal Law and Advocacy. Students learn all the different steps of a criminal trial and how to perform a mock trial. Opening and closing statements, direct and cross examinations and public speaking skills are all worked on in the quiz sections. Rollolazo's favorite part of the class is when the students get to practice delivering speeches and conducting examinations.
