Imagine you are in a spacemobile preparing to land on The Mothership. That is what I imagine when I travel down I-5 and see the Space Needle in downtown Seattle. I can imagine my spacemobile traveling the speed of light while I'm trying to make contact between me and The Mothership.
At night I can see downtown Seattle shine with beautiful bright light, through my space window. I can see this tall building flash before my eyes. "The Space Needle" and I am convinced to go past my exit in search of The Mothership. When I get under the colorful light, I spot the Space Needle. It is tall and exposed with bright light.
I imagine a spacemobile trying to land under The Mothership. As long as I keep imagining, I can see myself in the spacemobile with the others. While I am landing under The Mothership, I can see stars that are far far away and I can see one that is so close that I feel I could reach out and touch it.
When I am in The Mothership, I see spacemen, spacewomen and space-children floating back and forth and in circles from one end to the other. I see space-children chase each other around and space-parents trying to stop their space-children from chasing each other. I start to float round and round in The Mothership as if it is a big ship, I see different things with each revolution. Everytime I complete a full circle I see another image around The Mothership. As I see each new surrounding, it looks as if the journey will never end.
The journey does end as it's time for me to descend. I hate going back to earth, because I like it up here. I enjoy looking out into the dark night sky, especially when stars are shining bright and the lights of the city captures my sight. This is the place I'll never forget: Space Needle of the night in a bright circle of lights.
