One place I'll never forget in Seattle is Gas Works Park in the late night. Looking at the glistening water, or the bright flashing lights, or the sky with it's twinkling stars. Listening to the wind sweep past you never stopping to listen to a cry, but to carry them with it on it's long journey.
The bright yellowish moon shines leaving a never ending pathway across the water. It's pathway is so smooth that you want to follow it to see where it leads. The smell of the water is refreshing. It makes you want to take a big gulp of air and never let it out. Everything is quiet except for the water splashing against the shore. The ducks begin to quack as they are looking for food, splashing and playing in the water. The pathway creeps across water.
As you look across the water you see the "Big City" lights blinking on and off. The city looks alive and awake, as if the whole world is going on with out you. The headlights of cars speeding down the highway leaving a long red and white stream of light.
Above you the sky is a soft velvet cloth and the stars are diamond stones so precious they are put out of reach so that no one could harm them. The stars twinkle in to nothing in the sky that goes on forever for the next person to enjoy.
The chilly breeze against your face makes you feels as if your the only living creature on the earth.
