A place I'll never forget is the place where I was born and grew up as a little boy. That place was Providence, the capital of Rhode Island. Even though I don't remember much about it, the good times and bad times will never be forgotten. I still remember the time when I was only five. I was walking to the store as usual and when I came out, 7 black kids jumped me. They stole my candies along with my money and left me with a few scratches, but nothing brutal. Since then I always went somewhere with a group of friends. Learning a lesson the hard way was not my choice.

I also remember times when I just sat outside in the snow. Just listening to the whistling of the wind passing before my face. One really special time was when my friends came over. We had a wonderful time by playing tag and throwing snow balls at each other. Even till this day I miss the past. Moving to California at seven years old was pretty hard. I left all my toys and most important of all, I left all my friends. Those childhood days will never be forgotten and hopefully I'll hold on to them for the rest of my life.
