Dear Colleagues,

        In the newsletter I sent out earlier this week, I indicated 
that Dr. Ray Fonck, Associate Director for Fusion Energy Sciences, 
would present his perspective on the US fusion program at Monday 
night's UFA General Meeting.  Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Dr. 
Fonck cannot attend the Monday night meeting, and Dr. Stephen 
Eckstrand of OFES will make the presentation instead and field 
questions from the meeting's participants.  Dr. Eckstrand told me 
that Dr. Fonck still expects to attend much of the rest of the DPP 
meeting later in the week, and should be available to take comments 
and questions on Monday's presentation.
