Dalit Shach-Pinsly
is an architect, urban designer and research fellow at the UFL at the Collage of Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington. Her awards for research include the European Community Marie Curie Fellowship (2008-2010). Her current research deals with visibility analysis of urban spaces that relates mainly to visual openness to the view and visual exposure in regard to privacy aspects in the built environment. She has published her work in leading international journals, including the Journal of Urban Design International and Journal of Architecture and Planning Research, and presented in several international conferences.
Dalit Shach-Pinsly received her Bsc in architecture, MSc in Architecture - Urban Design and Ph.D at the Faculty of Architecture & Town Planning, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She lectured and taught at the Faculty of Architecture & Town Planning, Technion, Urban Design for undergraduate and Metropolitan Studios for graduates. She has over 7 years of practical experience in architectural and urban design and city planning.
