This year the UW Botanic Gardens is privileged to be hosting this
intensive garden writing workshop led by celebrated authors Cole
Burrell and Lucy Hardiman. This workshop, offered in a
handful of locations across the country every year, provides professional
development for garden, horticultural, nature, and conservation writers, and has
received rave reviews.
Saturday, June 30th, 2007: 10am-1pm
Join UWBG's Rare Care
Program at the Olympic
Sculpture Park. You and your family can join in this annual celebration
of native plants and the role they play in nature and in our lives. Admission
is free.
Wednesday, June 27th, 2007: 7-9pm
This class will cover how to conserve water in your garden, focusing on irrigation
systems, soil, plants, and compost. Save water and save money!
