The UW Botanic Gardens conducts a wide variety of adult education programs for everyone from beginner home gardeners to horticultural professionals. Programs include lectures, courses, demonstrations, studios and symposia, plus a variety of on-site and local, regional, national, and international off-site tours.

UWBG also conducts a variety of youth and family programs and community outreach activities, primarily through the Washington Park Arboretum. These include specialized on-site tours, school group programs, explorer packs, and special events.
