Research Interests

Dr. Berger’s research and clinical interests have included male reproduction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and genital reconstruction. He currently limits his practice to doing vasectomies and vasectomy reversals.

Teaching

Dr. Berger enjoys teaching at the University of Washington. Students and house staff may participate appropriately in his care to patients.

Education & Training

Dr. Berger received his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Chicago. He did a residency in urology at the University of Washington. He has been on the faculty at the University of Washington since 1979.

Honors

Dr. Berger has won several research awards. He has been elected to the “Best Doctors in America” on multiple occasions. His research has been funded both privately by the and by the National Institutes of Health. He has developed innovative procedures in genital and reproductive reconstruction and in vasectomy. He is invited to lecture nationally and internationally.
