Dr. Higano received her MD from University of Massachusetts Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota. She was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Washington
