Dr. Porter's clinic interests include Urologic Oncology (bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer), minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy, kidney stone disease, and general urology.
Research Interests
Dr. Porter's research interests include epidemiology of urologic disease, bladder cancer outcomes, including efficiency and quality of care, bladder cancer screening, and outcomes of urologic surgery.

Dr. Porter completed his surgical and urologic training at the University of Washington School of Medicine. During his residency, he obtained a Master of Science in Epidemiology. After residency, Dr. Porter completed 2 additional years of health services research training in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Washington.
