Patient Care/Philosophy

Dr. Wright's clinical interests include urologic oncology (kidney, bladder, prostate and testis cancer) and minimally invasive surgery. His patient care goal is to provide the highest level of medical and surgical care in a compassionate environment where the patient is an active member of the team.

Research Interests

Dr. Wright's research interests include the epidemiology of urologic cancers, health-related quality-of-life in prostate and bladder cancer patients, and outcomes following surgery for urologic cancers.

Education & Training

Dr. Wright received his medical degree with honors from the University of Washington in 2001. He did his internship in the department of Surgery at the University of Washington. Following that, he started his residency in the department of Urology at the University of Washington and was Chief Resident from 2006 to 2007. During his residency, he spent one year in the School of Public Health receiving his Masters in Epidemiology in 2005. He is currently both an Acting Instructor and Senior Fellow in Urologic Oncology in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington.
