Where to Stay

UW Medicine provides care for patients who come to Seattle from across the country and around the world. To find accommodations while you or a loved one is receiving medical care at one of our academic medical centers, please visit our hospital-specific lodging pages:

When contacting hotels, please ask if they offer a hospital rate.

If you would like to stay near the University of Washington campus, please contact the UW Medical Center hospitality house, The Collegiana, at (206) 732-3200.

Patients with Medicaid should contact their Medicaid provider to see if they are eligible for housing and transportation assistance. Arrangements and approval for Medicaid coverage for transportation and housing need to be made prior to coming to UW Medicine for treatment.

Patients receiving treatment for cancer and their family members may be eligible for free, short-term housing through the American Cancer Society. Call (800) ACS-2345 for more information.
