Profile
Dr Harper is a clinician, surgeon, and teacher who specializes in minimally invasive surgery and endourology.
Dr. Harper is now also seeing patients on the eastside! Dr. Harper is part of a new UW Urology Outreach Program to the UW Neighborhood Physicians Network. Scope Of Care
His primary focus is laparoscopic and robotic surgery for both kidney cancer and benign kidney conditions, as well as complex kidney stone disease. In addition to being an Assistant Professor of Urology, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Surgery/Transplantation and performs laparoscopic donor nephrectomy surgery (living kidney removal for transplantation).
Patient Care Philosophy
My goal is to deliver compassionate care while providing clinical insight and knowledge regarding the disease process and treatment options. I believe in a clinical setting that allows the patient and physician to have an equal part in deciding what is best for the individual patient.

Education & Training
Dr Harper graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz. There he majored in Biology and was part of the national championship tennis team. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2003. During medical school he achieved highest academic honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his surgery internship and urology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Endourology at UCLA.
