Overview
Urethral plugs may be used to treat stress incontinence in women. These are inserted into the urethra to prevent leakage. Some women find this treatment to very effective, other find the plug uncomfortable.

Considerations
Any woman who is bothered by her activity incontinence should consider this treatment.

Very effective if tolerated
Risk
Risk are urethral and bladder irritation.
