Neurourology Lab
The primary objective of the research from the Neurourology laboratory is to investigate and define the neurologic factors of genitourinary function, in health and disease. Although the majority of the work is centered on electrodiagnostic techniques, other methods, standard and experimental, are used as well.
Research Interests
Current projects include:
- Electrophysiology of sexual dysfunction in multiple sclerosis
- New techniques in female genital electrodiagnostic testing
- Sural nerve grafts for preservation of potency following radical prostatectomy
- New techniques in male genital electrodiagnostic testing
- MRI anatomy of female genitalia
- Autonomic mechanisms in male and female chronic pelvic pain syndromes
