Don't forget to ask for your captioning screen BEFORE going into the
auditorium! The movie previews are not captioned or described -- just the
main feature. Also, there is no extra cost for the use of the special
equipment required, but the number of pieces of the equipment is limited, so
we recommend getting to the theatre at least 30 minutes in advance to
increase your chances for getting one and for getting a ticket to that show.

To get your own private closed caption, place the base of the captioning
screen in your cupholder, and then adjust the clear plastic screen so the
captions appear just under the movie screen -- like a subtitle. It is best
to sit in the middle rows on the same side as the lighted readerboard, which
is on the rear wall of the theatre. The headsets for the blind also work
best in the middle seats -- not in the very back rows.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could pass this email or the
information in it to your friends, organizations and readers. There's been
a tremendous response from folks who have used these systems, and we'd like
to make sure everyone who can take advantage of these systems knows about
these accessible films.
