To whom it may concern,
Hi, my name is Rhona Jaffe. I'm a 60 year old women
confined to a wheel chair and blind. I am a medicare & medicaid recipient.
At present I am learning how to become more independent.
In the past I have volunteered many hours of my time to
organizations such as: Boy Scouts, Deborah Hospital, Women's American ORT.
,
Temple, P.T.A. and Advisor to The B'nai Brith Girls.
I was hoping that after all my years of fund raising for
these organizations someone would be as kind to me as I was in the past.
I am contacting you because I am looking for financial
help to secure Blind aids to help me become more independent and everyday
financial obligations I cannot meet.
I am in such great need that I don't know who to turn to.
My water has been shut off as I owe 218.93, my phone has been shut off as
of March 29 balance due 196.50, FP&L has given me a final notice balance
past due 677.38 & my property taxes balance of 818.77.
Some examples of Blind aids needed are full version blind
computer software, writing guides, envelope guides, raised line paper,
talking watch, talking clock, talking thermometer, special utensils for the
kitchen, insulin measuring device, large T.V. remote, natural light- light
bulbs, large button phone w/ telephone number memory and one touch dialing,
games, CCTV projection system.
If you could find it in your heart to help me before I
become homeless it would greatly be appreciated.
