Robert Thompson, an anthropologist,
worked as a Realtor in the Seattle area.
I think with John Scott or ERA.
He had a grant in the late 80s to
meet with family members of people
with developmental disabilities, to do
a survey of values on a Friday night
and then rejoin the group on Saturday
to discuss values and the differences
between families of disability and
the "general public".
Doug Cook may remember him;
hopefully he is doing great things.
He told us that the fun of anthropology
and real estate was to blend a buyer
into the neighborhood "tribe".
