Dear Andrea,
My friend in a Sequim nursing home has to have her trust pay for a phone
line so that she can use a TTY in her room. Previous requests for WTAP
had been denied because the nursing home is to provide telephone
messages and emergency calls.
What happened to the requirement that nursing homes provide a TTY for
residents in need?
What happened to the designated telephone for resident use? Beverly in
Pasco has one in the parlor. Royal Park in Spokakne has one in a less
used hallway for residents.
