The Washington Assistive Technology Foundation has received start-up funding
from the Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) to launch a new long
term loan program for Closed Circuit TV's. Through this new program, black
and white CCTV's will be made available for $25 per month and color CCTV's
for $35 per month to deaf-blind adults enrolled in DVR or DSB's vocational
programs but who are not eligible for equipment; individuals over the age of
55 with significant vision loss who need CCTV's for independent living
purposes and high school transition students. Applicants must be receiving
or eligible for services from DSB or the Division of Vocational
Rehabilitation.
I've attached guidelines and a flyer. To learn more about this program
and/or WATF's low interest assistive technology financial loan program,
please contact the Washington Assistive Technology Foundation at: (206)
