I have to tell you though that it's very difficult to locate where that beep
is really coming from. It bounces off everything. I think it needs to be a
more solid sound, and the best suggestion I've seen thus far in terms of
locatable sound would be the doorbell idea. I have one (not for that
purpose) and it's definite but not disgusting.

I would also bet you could disconnect the alarm part and just leave the
