The only thing I have found is from Sharper Image.  They have a wireless remote location unit for about $50, but the range is only 30 ft.  It's really meant to be used in the home or office.  Perhaps if you contact the manufacturer, they may have a unit with greater range.

Use this link to see it:

From the website:

"Now You Can Find It!" Wireless RF Electronic Locater
#SI667GRY
   $49.95
Always misplacing your glasses? Keys? Remote? Cell? PDA? "Now You Can Find It"® locater puts a pager on all elusive things!

    * Includes four beeper discs to attach to keys, glasses and other elusive objects.
    * Press a button on the portable base and the corresponding disc beeps loudly.
    * Each disc attaches with key ring or double-sided adhesive pad.
    * Effective range of 30 feet. Includes magnetic mounting bracket for base.

As an interim solution, if visual disability is not a concern, is to tie or tape something unique to their car antenna that is visible across a parking lot.  Small flags, pinwheels, or streamers can be taped on pretty easily since they have a "handle".

An individual who has some memory difficulties is looking for an audio alert she can activate from her keychain that will help her find her car in a parking lot, that is not a car alarm.  Any ideas?
