Why not also consider GPS. The basic non mapping ones can find a car in a
lot if the car is set as the basepoint when left and the basic ones such as
those from Garmin are inexpensive. More expensive ones can be used with an
IPAQ or other handheld in the same way (though they will have mapping
capabilities as well)

An individual who has some memory difficulties is looking for an audio alert
she can activate from her keychain that will help her find her car in a
parking lot, that is not a car alarm. Any ideas?
