Happy New Year...please excuse this cross posting:
I am in the research phase regarding current casework, and I'm hoping to
locate an alternative/augmented of communication (AAC) switch technology
that ideally would provide three switches which are tactilely
differentiated, and allow for the recording of a human voice or playing of a
synthesized voice as the resulting action. The intention would be to
provide a switch with bimodal appeal (tactile/speech) which could help a
child with hydrocephalus develop cognitive associations that allow her to
express simple concepts like "I am thirsty", "I want to play", etc.
Any product suggestions or hyperlinks would be most appreciated. -ed.
