Heather Wallace

Heather Wallace, M.Ed. Autism Consultant.   Heather Wallace is one of the three autism consultants at the UW Autism Center location in Seattle. She graduated with her B.S. degree in Psychology from University of Santa Clara in 2001. The following year she lived in South Korea and taught English to students grades K-8.  In June of 2005 she received her Master’s degree and teaching certificate from the University of Washington’s Early Childhood Special Education program. During her two years spent in the graduate program she worked at the Experimental Education Unit (EEU) on the UW campus. She spent her first year at the EEU working in the Developmentally Appropriate Treatment for Autism (Project DATA) classroom. She spent a summer as an Assistant Teacher in a birth to 3 years of age classroom and the following year she was an Assistant Teacher in a blended preschool classroom. After graduating with her Masters in June 2005 she headed to Peru for four months to work with children with special needs. Since 2001 Heather has provided ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders within various home and school settings in and outside the United States.
