Milani Smith

Milani Smith, Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologist, oversees the UW Autism Center clinical services, professional training and outreach activities in the clinical program. She conducts diagnostic assessments, consults with school districts, and provides individual therapy for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Smith received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Hawaii with an emphasis on children and adolescence, as well as cross-cultural issues in mental health. She has been working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders since 1993, and with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities since 1995. She has extensive experience in school consultation.
