Jo Ristow, M.S., CF-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Joanna Ristow, M.S., CF-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at the UW Autism Center. Jo received her Master's in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington in August 2012, where she also earned a clinical achievement award for her work at the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic. She completed an internship the summer of 2012, performing speech and language assessments and therapy for severely impacted children with autism spectrum disorders.
Jo's clinical interests include social communication and intervention using AAC techniques, including the iPad and PECS. Jo provides speech and language evaluations and therapy, either short-term or ongoing, including assistance with implementing AAC techniques.
