Assessments
The Center provides diagnostic evaluations for
infants, children, and adolescents who are suspected to have
an autism spectrum disorder. In addition, educational, neuropsychological,
speech and language, and occupational therapy evaluations
are provided. These assessments aid in educational and intervention
planning, such as developing IEP goals and recommending strategies
for teaching new skills. Follow-up consultation to the child's
school often is provided to assist in implementing recommendations
in school or other settings.
