HOME Clinical Services Intervention Services

Intervention Services

Clinicians at the Center provide a range of other intervention services. A behavioral treatment consultation involves working with families and/or school staff to increase a child's ability to function successfully and adaptively at home, in the community, and/or at school. Adolescents sometimes benefit from individual psychotherapy focusing on developing satisfying and stable social relationships, coping with anxiety and anger, and social problem solving. Autism Center clinicians provide social skills training groups in which children can improve their social skills with peers.
