The Center for Plant Conservation (CPC) is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to preventing the extinction of rare plants in the United States. It is comprised of a network of 34 botanical gardens and arboreta and a national coordinating office. The CPC houses the National Collection of Endangered Plants.
