How to Interview
Questions about interviewing? Could you use a practice run with feedback from industry pros? Our UW BioE Affiliates Program workshop on How to Interview provides UW bioengineering students with an opportunity to learn best practices from local industry representatives and participate in a mock interview. Industry representatives will join the panel discussion, lead small group mock interview sessions and provide feedback to participating students.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Interview preparation best practices
  • Proper follow-up after an interview
  • Appropriate interview questions
  • Key interview questions you may encounter

Designed for maximum interaction among UW students, alumni and industry professionals, this workshop features a keynote speech and small group interactions with ample opportunities to put theory into practice. This workshop will help you learn the basics and give you the chance to practice networking with young researchers and seasoned pros alike.

At this workshop, you will:

  • Meet industry representatives and learn about their companies
  • Meet UW Bioengineering alumni
