Discussion Group Dates and Registration

REGISTRATION FOR DISCUSSION GROUPS WILL OPEN JUNE 13, 2008

Discussion groups will be offered at both the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). Space in discussion groups is limited; priority at the UW is given to School of Medicine trainees. FHCRC-based trainees will be given priority when registering for discussion groups offered at that site.

For those affiliated with FHCRC who wish to attend a discussion group there, dates and times for groups will be posted on the FHCRC Web site. For more information contact Lee Strucker, 206-667-1247 or at lstrucke@fhcrc.org. If you are planning to attend a FHCRC discussion group, you must first secure a place before registering online for the UW Program.

All discussion groups are 60-minutes in length. All discussion groups held at the UW are from 11:00 am-noon or 12:15-1:15 pm. Please review the schedule below for availability.

To register, first download the BRI Registration Worksheet, gather together the required information, and then go to the Catalyst Online Registration Form at https://catalysttools.washington.edu/webq/survey/mmitchel/54099 (which will open 6/13/08) and complete the online form. You will NOT be able to save your form and go back to it, so please be prepared prior to visiting the site.

  • You may electronically submit your completed registration form at any time. However, there may be a delay in assigning non-SOM trainees to preferred discussion groups; after July 15, all groups will be open to everyone.
  • Pre-registration is required for all discussion groups.
  • Attendance credit will not be awarded for attending discussion groups for which you have not pre-registered and received confirmation of enrollment. Locations of discussion groups will be provided one week prior to the scheduled discussion group via email to registered participants only.
