C4C Managers Receive Accolades at King County CFD Volunteer Appreciation Event

Combined Fund Drive LogoAt the King County CFD Volunteer Appreciation Event held at the Mount Baker Community Club on March 14th, UW Vice Provost for Commercialization Linden Rhoads was awarded one of three Manager of the Year awards for her invaluable support of the Combined Fund Drive. C4C Human Resources Manager Hope Friedlander received one of four Spirit of Service Awards as an outstanding CFD coordinator.

The Combined Fund Drive is Washington’s State’s workplace giving program for public employees. UW remains the most generous in the state contributing $2,066,131 or 39% of the total dollars pledged to CFD in 2011. C4C had one of the highest participation rates at the University, with 82% of staff contributing.
