UW Professor Jim Olson’s start-up company Blaze Bioscience Raises $8.5M to help surgeons pinpoint cancer with “tumor paint”
Seattle biotechnology start-up Blaze Bioscience has raised $8.5 million to continue developing technologies that are designed to help surgeons more easily identify cancer cells in the body. For the Second Year in a Row, C4C Tops UW Departments for Combined Fund Giving

Stillaguamish Tribe to Invest $5 Million in UW Spin-out MicroGREEN Polymers
MicroGREEN Polymers, Inc. announced that the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians has made a strategic investment of $5 million in MicroGREEN.
