UW Interactive Media Technology Showcase

Connecting with Industry

enterpriseSeattle's Washington Interactive Network and the UW Center for Commercialization have organized this event, moderated by Alex St. John, to showcase leading edge interactive media technologies in development at the University of Washington.  UW researchers are pioneering exciting technology advances in areas of 3D graphics, image and video processing, motion generation, mind/computer user interfaces and more.

Much of this research has achieved a sufficient level of maturity to be evaluated for its commercial potential.  Our event is a special showcase of these technologies presented by the UW researchers to a select audience of technology executives and investors with the hope of connecting the brilliant minds that have pioneered these exciting technologies with visionary people from industry able to identify and guide the path from laboratory to market.

The event is one day only on July 22^nd in downtown Seattle coinciding and within easy walking distance of Seattle's annual Casual Connect Conference.  The event features one hour presentations on each major area of research followed by breakout discussion sessions with the researcher and interested parties.
