Support the Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) Fund

Dedicated to eliminating the achievement gap in education, the Center for Educational Leadership seeks to develop the leadership capacity of K-12 teachers, principals, and district administrators. We provide continuing education opportunities that nurture the will and develop the savvy of leaders who are working to eliminate the social inequalities which perpetuate the achievement gap.

To accomplish our goals, we need your help. CEL is a self-supporting organization. With your support, we can continue to expand and enhance our programs for professional development. Specifically, we have three priorities for which private funds are critical:

• To bring the highest caliber speakers to our programs

• To establish program scholarships for participants

• To keep all of its programs and services as affordable as possible

Your support will help provide educators in our region access to the best and brightest minds in the field today—currently the cost for excellent speakers exceeds the revenue we bring in through tuition. Similarly, we hope to increase folks’ access to our professional development opportunities by providing scholarships for participants, especially principals from districts in which professional development money is limited.
