Support the Washington Wildfire Relief Campaign

Destroying homes and displacing residents, wildfires continue to rage across many parts of Washington state . You can help support relief efforts through the UW Combined Fund Drive.

You can support the disaster relief effort by making a donation to any of the following nonprofits working on the ground:

  • Apple Valley American Red Cross, charity code 0315552

The Apple Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is currently in the area providing disaster victims with food and shelter.

  • Community Foundation of North Central Washington, charity code 1480598

The Community Foundation of North Central Washington is working with local funders and social service agencies who are distributing much needed funding to organizations providing essential services.

  • Okanogan County Community Action Council, charity code 0497063

The Okanogan County Community Action Council has been providing for essential needs of fire victims like gas, motel stays, clothes, and more. Check out their Facebook page.

  • Serve Wenatchee Valley, charity code 0337009

Serve Wenatchee Valley has a chaplain in the area of the wildfires, attending to families and first responders.

  • Soup Ladies, charity code 1481469

The Soup Ladies are a group of volunteers that help provide warm, home-cooked meals to first responders in disaster areas. The ladies have been present at sites during Hurricane Sandy, the Oklahoma tornado, Oso, and now in the north central Washington area helping firefighters and first responders stay warm and fed.
