Jasmin Eng is the Administrative Coordinator for the Simpson Center. Jasmin provides support as the first point of contact in reserving the Simpson Center facilities, as well as being the liaison between the Simpson Center staff and collaborators, both internally and externally from the University of Washington community. She also assists with fiscal processing and purchasing and supports the administration of the Center’s semiannual grant competitions.
Jasmin is excited to be at the Simpson Center and admires how it serves as an intellectual catalyst for crossdisciplinary studies. A graduate from the University of Washington, Jasmin holds a bachelor’s degree in Comparative History of Ideas and Sociology. She has studied abroad in Iceland and has tutored students in her former high school through a Practicum in the Sociology of Education course.
Presently, Jasmin is studying storytelling through animation and is crafting her skill in digital art, as well as various mediums such as paper and sound. She hopes to one day travel to South Korea and teach English abroad in an international school.
