Reading/Reception Room

Capacity: Maximum of 35 for receptions (Seating is minimal. Two double doors open to connect the Seminar and Reading rooms to allow for larger gatherings.)

Primary Functions: receptions, meetings, casual gatherings

Equipment Available: TV, VCR, DVD player, CD player, Ethernet connection, telephone

Scheduling Availability: all day

Reserving Simpson Center Facilities

To request Simpson Center facilities for your event, submit a request online (through Catalyst web tools).


Please note: Space requests are not booked until you receive confirmation from the Simpson Center. Please allow up to 48 hours for response. Priority is given to Center-sponsored projects and programs, and humanities, interdepartmental, and scholarly events.
