| Art Exhibit Jacob Lawrence: Selected Prints 1971-2000. The Jacob Lawrence Gallery, Art 132. The Jacob Lawrence Gallery will be presenting a selection of prints created by Lawrence between 1971 and 2000. Included in the exhibit are two series, Eight studies for the Book of Genesis,' 1990, and Hiroshima,' 1983. Also showing are 27 single works surveying Lawrences portrayal of every day subjects from carpenters and musicians to games and libraries. Of special distinction are his prints of the struggle for civil rights in The Confrontation at the Bridge,' 1974. Exhibit runs July 5-31, 2001.
