Taxi cabs
Taxi cabs meet travelers at the Ground Transportation Center on the third floor of the Parking Garage at Sea-Tac Airport.
All Seattle taxi cabs operate at the same rate set by King County. $2.50 meter drop, $2/mile, $.50/minute waiting time, $.50/extra passenger over two, excluding minors. Taxi service one way from Sea-Tac Airport to the University District costs approximately $40-$48 and the length of the trip is 20-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Parking on the UW Campus
The University of Washington encourages you to join its efforts to improve traffic conditions and to protect the environment. Please consider using an alternative to driving alone to get to any campus event. Options include using the bus or sharing the ride.
Before parking on campus, stop and purchase a parking permit from a gatehouse. The daily parking fee is $11/day between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. Stop at a gatehouse as you exit campus for a prorated refund if you paid with cash and you were parked on campus less than 4 hours. An evening rate begins at 4 p.m. and is $5/evening. A weekend rate of $5 is also required for parking on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.
