Society of Scholars

The Society of Scholars is an intellectual community in which humanists of diverse generations, academic ranks, and departmental affiliations contribute to and learn from one another's work. The group meets biweekly throughout the year to discuss their research in progress and is composed of faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.

Postdoctoral Fellowships

Postdoctoral fellowships at the Simpson Center are often tied to and supported by special grant initiatives.

Biological Futures in a Globalized World

brings together faculty and graduate students in the social sciences and humanities with scientists from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center to understand the growing worldwide use of biological knowledge to manipulate and build living systems.
