Objectives

This is a working conference on community based collaborative research practice. Over the course of the meeting, we will pursue:

  1. An exploration of best practices, including exemplary successes and lessons learned

  2. An examination of how collaborative practice can transform and invigorate research, through specific impact on the design, conduct, and outcomes of research in community forestry, collaborative archaeology, and community health

  3. Development of recommendations for those moving forward with research collaborations
